Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

What does oil of oregano actually do?

Oregano oil is rich in carvacrol, a plant compound studied for its antioxidant properties. People take it to support digestive comfort, a balanced gut and the body's natural immune defenses.* Black seed oil adds thymoquinone, another well-studied antioxidant compound.*

It is a dietary supplement, not a medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Will it taste or burn like oregano drops?

No. Liquid oregano oil is famously hot on the tongue and throat. Ours is sealed inside a softgel, so you swallow it with water and a meal and never taste it. A few people notice a mild herbal aftertaste in the first days. Taking it in the middle of a meal usually takes care of that.

How do I take it, and can I take it every day?

Two softgels once a day with a meal and a full glass of water. If your stomach is sensitive, start with one.

Many people follow a rhythm of 8 weeks on and 1 week off with oregano oil. Refill Club makes that easy: skip or move a delivery in two clicks.

Who should not take it?

Please talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant or nursing, take blood thinners or diabetes medication, have surgery planned in the next two weeks, or are allergic to plants in the mint family such as oregano, basil, sage or lavender. Not intended for children.

How does Refill Club work, and how do I cancel?

Your first order comes in the jar. After that we send refill pouches on the schedule that matches what you bought: every 30, 60 or 90 days, at the refill price shown before you check out. We email you 5 days before each refill ships.

To cancel, open your account or the link in any reminder email and press Cancel, then Confirm. Two clicks. You can pause, skip or change the date the same way.

Is it vegan? Where is it made?

The softgel shell is bovine gelatin, so it is not vegan or vegetarian. It is free from soy, gluten, dairy and artificial colors.

OODY is manufactured in the USA in a cGMP-certified facility, and every batch is tested by an independent lab. The batch number on your jar opens that batch's report.

Why is there a Psalm on the label? Do I have to be religious?

Not at all. The hyssop mentioned in Psalm 51:7 is widely identified by botanists as Origanum syriacum, a wild member of the oregano family, and we like that the herb in this jar has that much history behind it. It is an origin story, not a health claim and not a requirement. Everyone is welcome here.
